My General Policy About Questions: I welcome general questions about legal information on this blog or on my website alperlaw.com. Please send general questions by e-mail. I try to answer many e-mail questions each week provided that I can adequately respond in a short e-mail reply. Keep your questions brief and to the point. My reply is meant to convey my initial impression pointing you in the right direction.
Please understand that I receive many e-mail questions every day. Just because there is free legal information on this blog does not mean I feel obligated to answer every question from every reader. If I do not respond to your question it may be that I don't know the answer without research, or I am busy working for clients, or I'm watching the game. Please don't take offense personally, and please don’t complain to my secretary.
This is important! I do not provide specific asset protection advice to people who are not clients. Unless you have paid me legal fees you are not my client. If you are not my client, anything you tell me in an e-mail is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Also, until you are my client I am not going to suggest in my e-mail reply what you should do or should not do in your particular situation.
How To Get Asset Protection Advice
People seeking my legal advice about their particular asset protection situation should contact my office by phone to possibly make an appointment (see contact information above). I provide additional asset protection answers and advice to clients for a fee either in my office or by telephone meetings at scheduled appointments. During asset protection meetings I explain which of your personal and business assets are currently protected from creditors, which assets are not protected, and I suggest ways to better protect those assets not currently protected. Legal work, if any, involved in the implementation of your asset protection plan is billed separately.
Please call my office at 407-444-0404 if you want to schedule an in-office appointment or phone meeting to get asset protection advice about your personal or business situation. I do not schedule appointments by e-mail.
Disclaimer: If you send me an e-mail question and you are not a client (see above) your e-mail will not create an attorney-client relationship and neither your e-mail nor my reply will privileged or confidential communication. The information on this blog is not all you need to know about the subject matter. These posts are just my personal opinions about different issues. If you think you can rely on this blog to figure out answers to your personal legal problems and issues you are making a big mistake. Use common sense- if you have a legal question or problem, hire an attorney.
